Law enforcement is searching for a man after a bank robbery turned deadly in Berea yesterday. Kentucky State Police say employees Breanna Edwards and Brian Switzer were fatally shot by the suspect at a U.S. Bank branch on Chestnut Street around 2:30 p.m. Authorities chased the man's vehicle into Fayette County before it crashed into a tree and he ran on foot, according to KSP. Officials were searching near Johnston Road in Lexington as of eleven o'clock last night, but no arrests have been reported so far.The man who was found guilty of killing 18-year-old Corydon High School senior Bryce Gerlach during the 2024 Harvest Homecoming has been sentenced to 190 years in prison. In February, a jury found 19-year-old Isaiah Page guilty of murdering Gerlach at the annual fall festival in New Albany. Following the shootings, twelve people were sentenced in connection with the shootings that also injured two bystanders. During Page's sentencing yesterday, the judge said Page never showed any remorse for the killing. He will not be eligible for probation. A Louisville couple is accused of traveling to the Pittsburgh area to make money off prostitution during the NFL Draft. Court documents show 22-year-old Barry Brumley and 31-year-old Hillary Sanders, of Louisville, were arrested at a hotel in Cranberry Township last Thursday. Undercover police allegedly contacted the couple through a website known for advertising sex work and arranged for a meeting with Sanders to exchange 300 dollars for sex. Sanders took the money from a detective at the hotel before she was arrested in the room and Brumley was apprehended in the parking lot, according to investigators. Both are charged with promoting prostitution and other counts. The Kentucky Derby is tomorrow, and one New York billionaire hopes to turn his luck around. Mike Repole [[ reh-POLE-ee ]] is the owner of the morning line favorite, Renegade. Despite all his racing successes, Repole is 0-for-11 at Churchill Downs. The Queens native has been a horse racing fan since he was a teen. He made much of his fortune in the sports beverage industry. He began his Thoroughbred operation, Repole Stable, 20 years ago. Renegade's trainer -- Todd Pletcher -- has two Derby victories under his belt. It looks like over two-thousand jobs are returning to the Ford facilities in Hardin County. Governor Andy Beshear announced a new two-billion-dollar investment into the former BlueOval SK factories yesterday. Workers at the plants will be building "energy storage systems", according to the governor. Ford announced mass layoffs and a shift in manufacturing at the properties back in December.
