White Sulphur Springs Holdings wants a federal judge to place the hotel into receivership until the outstanding two-hundred-and-eighty-nine million dollar debt is paid in full.Meanwhile, Emerson Avenue commuters face lingering delays following a chaotic two-vehicle crash. Parkersburg emergency crews responded after an Amazon delivery truck collided with a tow truck, snapping a utility pole and knocking out power to nearby stoplights. The collision left power lines draped over both vehicles, trapping a wrecker service driver inside.And a major shakeup to the Parkersburg Urban Renewal Authority is on hold after a divided City Council meeting. In a narrow five-to-four vote, council tabled a resolution that would strip the authority from being run entirely by council members.
